Many
years
ago, I ran across an entry about phone calls from the dead in a
paranormal encyclopedia. I was intrigued by the idea because I have
some weird issues with telephones that relate to social anxiety. This
was before you could pop online and find out about anything and
everything under the sun. The entry mentioned a book about phone calls
from the dead. Several years passed, and my sisters and I had ceased to
yell, "phone calls from the dead!!" every time the phone rang. I was
able to buy a copy of the book. Some more years passed (Now are you
getting why this page is never updated? I move slowly.) and I got some
idea into my head that I was going to make a webpage. This was back
before blogs, when it seemed like you needed an actual reason to have a
webpage. By this time, I had scoured the internet for information on
phone calls from the dead, to no avail. So I thought, hey, why don't I
make a webpage about it? The result is the travesty of a website that
you are viewing here today. So obviously, I am no kind of expert or
authority on this.
But enough about me.
Phone
calls
from the dead are phenomena where
a person receives a telephone call that seemingly involves a person who
has died.
This type of occurrence is often related to Electronic Voice Phenomena
(EVP),
which is more widely known. EVP is the recording of supernatural voices
onto
cassette tape. In my opinion, the idea of phone calls from the dead
seems to have increased in popularity over the years that I've had this
webpage. I still don't see a lot of hard info out there though. I'd
especially like to see more about all the gadgetry that's out now like
caller id and the like. You know, just in case you are some big shot
paranormal researcher reading this.

Revamped
entire layout, but I still don't know HTML so that ain't saying much. I
also hate IE and my sister reports that it doesn't work right with it,
but I don't care. Well, even if I cared, I wouldn't know how to fix it,
and it looks ok on my browser so there! Also added lots of stories.
Whee!
